The 21st hospital of Acıbadem Healthcare Group opened its doors in Altunizade in March 2017.
Acıbadem Altunizade Hospital features comprehensive medical units, advanced technical
infrastructure, state-of-the-art medical technology, professional healthcare personnel across
all specialties, and a strong multidisciplinary approach.
The hospital hosts a wide range of specialized units, from Oncology and Neurosurgery to
Cell Therapy and Robotic Surgery.
Indoor Area of 98,000 m²
Acıbadem Altunizade Hospital provides services across an indoor area of 98,000 square meters.
The hospital has a capacity of 350 beds, 18 operating theatres, 75 intensive care unit beds,
and a parking lot with space for 550 vehicles.
Examination, Diagnosis, and Treatment Units on the Same Floor
Designed with patient comfort in mind, Acıbadem Altunizade Hospital minimizes walking distances
between units. Examination, diagnosis, and treatment processes are planned and carried out
on the same floor in many specialized outpatient clinics, including:
Breast Health Unit, Ophthalmology Unit, Spinal Health Unit, Neurologic Sciences Unit,
Neuro-radiosurgery Unit, and Oral and Dental Health Unit.

Advanced Oncology Unit
A dedicated Oncology Unit designed to address both medical and social needs of patients
is located within the hospital. The unit follows a multidisciplinary clinical approach,
bringing together surgery, medical oncology, and radiation oncology, supported by
cutting-edge technology.
The Oncology Unit’s device park includes Tomotherapy, which enables 360-degree imaging-guided
treatment, as well as TrueBeam, VitalBeam, and Gamma Knife Icon systems for treating tumors
throughout the body. PET-CT and SPECT-CT imaging devices are also utilized.
Triple Hybrid Operating Theatre System
The hospital features a hybrid operating theatre system that integrates three diagnostic
units simultaneously: a 3 Tesla MRI, a 128-slice Sliding CT, and Robotic Arm Angiography.
This system supports operations across three operating theatres at the same time.
This advanced structure enables precise imaging and guided surgical treatment in
Neurosurgery, Cardiovascular Surgery, Orthopedics, and ENT (Maxillofacial Surgery).
Robotic-assisted surgeries using the da Vinci system are also performed.
Sanitizing Door Handles
Patient room door handles are self-disinfecting and produced using a special alloy
that impacts microbial enzymes, reducing the spread of germs through hand contact.
Intensive Care Services
The hospital provides intensive care services with a total capacity of 75 beds,
classified as follows:
- Neonatal Intensive Care Unit: 23 beds
- Pediatric Intensive Care Unit: 14 beds
- Coronary Intensive Care Unit: 8 beds
- Cardiovascular Surgery ICU: 7 beds
- General Intensive Care Unit: 23 beds
Each intensive care unit includes separate waiting, consultation, and resting areas
for patients’ relatives. A dedicated Training Hall for Mothers is also available.
Special Pediatric Clinic
Operating under the “baby-friendly hospital” concept, Acıbadem Altunizade Hospital
offers pediatric services tailored to every age group. The clinic features separate
waiting areas for healthy and ill children, located away from main entrances.
The Pediatric Clinic includes Otorhinolaryngology and Pediatric Dental Health outpatient
services. Emergency and Chemotherapy services for children are provided in separate,
specialized areas.
Multi-functional Emergency Service
The Emergency Service is designed to meet all emergency intervention needs, supporting
both air and ground ambulance services and outpatient emergency care.
Facilities include decontamination rooms, resuscitation areas, emergency intervention
rooms, radiologic imaging, observation rooms, and an operating theatre dedicated to
emergency conditions.
The Emergency Department contains 13 adult rooms, 5 pediatric rooms, 2 isolation rooms,
and a total of 32 beds, 20 of which are used for observation.
Health Point for International Patients
Acıbadem Altunizade Hospital features a dedicated area for international patients,
known as “Health Point.” This service area provides diagnostic and therapeutic support
in 16 languages, offering international patients comfort and assistance throughout
their hospital experience.
Trigeneration System
The trigeneration system enables the production of electricity, heating, and cooling
from a single energy source. This system increases energy efficiency compared to
conventional methods and provides economic advantages.
At Acıbadem Altunizade Hospital, electricity is produced using natural gas, and the
resulting heat is reused for heating and cooling.
LEED Gold Certified Green Hospital
The hospital has been awarded the LEED Gold certification (Leadership in Energy and
Environmental Design), recognizing it as a green building that uses energy and water
efficiently, preserves natural resources, and minimizes environmental impact.

The King Suite Room is the most exclusive accommodation, designed to meet the diverse
needs of patients and their relatives. The suite is arranged as a three-part apartment
featuring a double bedroom and a living area.It includes an American-style kitchen equipped with a microwave and refrigerator,
along with two bathrooms and premium comfort amenities.

Acıbadem Altunizade Hospital has 18 Suite Rooms, each consisting of two separate areas.
In addition to meeting basic patient needs, these rooms include a dedicated waiting
area for patient companions.Each suite features two bathrooms—one for the patient and one for the companion—and
offers amenities such as a minibar, television, personal safe, and newspaper service.

The hospital has 341 Standard Rooms designed to meet the essential needs of patients
and their relatives. Each room is equipped with a minibar, television, internet access,
personal safe, and newspaper service.A two-seater sofa is also available in each room to ensure comfort for patient companions.
