Barooah Cancer Institute in Guwahati. His formative years included invaluable tutelage under Dr. Sultan A. Pradhan at Prince Aly Khan Hospital in Mumbai, an experience that provided him with profound insights into the multifaceted nature of Head and Neck Oncology.

From 2009, Dr. Hazarika served as a Consultant in Surgical Oncology at Max Super Specialty Hospital, Saket, New Delhi. He ascended to the position of Head of Department for Head & Neck Surgery at the same institution in 2013, a role he held with distinction until August 2016.
