Dr. CEYDA CAYTEMEL

Education

Dr. Ceyda Çaytemel’s foundational medical education was completed at Bulent Ecevit University Faculty of Medicine. She further honed her specialized knowledge in dermatology through her training at Haseki Training and Research Hospital, Department of Skin and Venereal Diseases.

Professional Experience

Dr. Çaytemel brings a wealth of experience in dermatology to her practice. She is currently associated with Acıbadem Health Group. Prior to this, she served as a Dermatology Specialist at Istanbul Basaksehir Cam and Sakura City Hospital’s Skin and Venereal Diseases Clinic for two years. Her early career included a four-year tenure as an Assistant Doctor in the Skin and Venereal Diseases Clinic at Istanbul Haseki Training and Research Hospital, followed by a year as a physician at Zonguldak Maternity and Child Diseases Hospital.

Research and Publications

A prolific contributor to dermatological literature, Dr. Çaytemel has authored and co-authored numerous impactful studies. Her research spans diverse areas within dermatology, including the outcomes of dermatology outpatient clinics post-COVID-19, management of rare conditions like Olmsted syndrome, characterization of pigmented purpuric dermatosis, and the dermatological manifestations of COVID-19. She has also investigated the dermatological side effects of targeted antineoplastic therapies, the use of systemic isotretinoin in transplant patients, and complex cases of painful leg ulcers. Her specialization thesis focused on the levels of substance P, chymase, and angiotensin-converting enzyme in cold urticaria plaques.
