Dr. Mehmet Behram Cam has dedicated over a decade to advancing patient care in Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) medicine. His professional journey began with invaluable experience at Kars State Hospital from 2011 to 2013. Following this, he managed a private ENT practice from 2013 to 2015, honing his clinical skills. Since 2015, Dr. Cam has been a distinguished member of the Acıbadem Health Group, contributing his specialized knowledge and commitment to excellence in ENT health.

Education and Training

Dr. Cam’s foundational medical education was completed at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine, graduating in 2005. He then pursued specialized training within the Department of Ear, Nose, and Throat Diseases at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine, completing his residency in 2011. Furthering his expertise, Dr. Cam undertook advanced training at Harvard University Medical School, affiliated with the renowned Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, in 2016. Dr. Mehmet Behram Cam is an active contributor to the medical literature in otolaryngology, with a notable publication record that reflects his research interests. His work includes experimental studies such as examining the effects of xylitol on nasal mucosa in rhinitis medicamentosa, published in the European Archives of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology. He has also published on topics including giant Warthin tumors and bilateral very large Haller cells. Dr. Cam has explored the impact of snoring and obstructive sleep apnea on daily life and contributed to research on incus augmentation with glass ionomer cement in stapes surgery, published in the Ear, Nose & Throat Journal. His research also extends to the protective effects of vitamin E applications on cisplatin-induced ototoxicity.
