Dr. Murat Aksu brings over two decades of dedicated experience to the field of Neurology, with a particular focus on the treatment of complex conditions like Migraine. His career is marked by a commitment to advancing neurological understanding and patient care, highlighted by significant contributions and leadership roles.

His tenure includes extensive clinical practice and academic involvement. From 2015 onwards, Dr. Aksu has been a distinguished member of the Acıbadem Health Group. Prior to this, he significantly contributed to the Department of Neurology at Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine from 2006 to 2011, and previously from 1996 to 2006, where he also held a professorial position. His research journey includes a noteworthy period as a Special Scientist at the National Institutes of Health, National Institutes of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, from 2002 to 2005. Earlier in his career, Dr. Aksu served at the Bilecik State Hospital from 1993 to 1996.

Dr. Aksu’s foundational medical education was obtained from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, graduating in 1988. He further honed his expertise at Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine, completing his Neurology specialization in 1993. His academic achievements are underscored by his professorship at Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine in 2006. Demonstrating his commitment to specialized neurological diagnostics, Dr. Aksu earned his Medical Specialization Board Certification in Clinical Neurophysiology in 2011.
