Dr. Muslime Akbaba has cultivated a distinguished career spanning over three decades in the field of ophthalmology. Her extensive experience includes a significant tenure at the Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology, from 1984 to 2006, where she contributed significantly to patient care and academic advancement. Further enhancing her expertise, Dr. Akbaba completed a specialized fellowship at the prestigious Moorfields Eye Hospital in London in 1990, focusing on advanced ophthalmic techniques. Since 2007, she has been a valued member of the Acıbadem Health Group, continuing her commitment to providing exceptional ophthalmic services.

Education

Dr. Akbaba’s foundational medical education was received from Cumhuriyet University Faculty of Medicine, where she completed her studies from 1975 to 1982. She then pursued her specialization in Ophthalmology at Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine, graduating in 1987. Her early academic achievements include graduating from Ankara Girls High School in 1975, setting a strong precedent for her future accomplishments.
