Dr. Rahul Bhargava brings extensive experience in Hematology and Stem Cell Transplantation, with a career dedicated to advancing patient care and accessibility in these complex fields. His professional journey began with early contributions at ESIC Hospital, Faridabad, followed by significant tenures at Medanta – The Medicity in Gurgaon, where he honed his expertise. His foundational training also includes a Senior Residency at the esteemed CMC, Vellore, providing a robust clinical background.

Dr. Bhargava is a transformative figure in the field of Stem Cell Transplantation in India. Since commencing his work in 2010, he has successfully conducted over 1500 transplants. Demonstrating a profound commitment to making advanced medical treatments accessible, he has established ten cost-effective Stem Cell Transplant centers across India, including notable centers at Sarvodaya Hospital and Batra Hospital. His vision for an anemia-free and thalassemia-free India drives his active collaboration with government initiatives to deliver low-cost Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) treatments to the broader population. A significant milestone in his career was becoming the first Indian doctor to perform and popularize stem cell transplantation for Multiple Sclerosis in 2016. Dr. Bhargava’s dedication extends to community outreach, exemplified by his screening of over 500 children for blood disorders in Haryana and surrounding areas in 2018, and conducting over 1000 Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs. His establishment of an integrated center of excellence for Hematology, Pediatric Hematology, and Stem Cell Transplant at Fortis Memorial Research Institute underscores his leadership in the field.
