Dr. Wang Kai specializes in the comprehensive management of pediatric hematologic and oncological conditions, which includes chemotherapy, hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, and cellular immunotherapy. He is highly skilled in diagnosing and developing treatment plans for both acute and chronic leukemia in children, various solid tumors, and a wide range of blood disorders. Dr. Wang has particular expertise in performing hematopoietic stem cell transplants for complex pediatric hematologic cancers and rheumatic autoimmune diseases, having successfully completed over 200 such procedures. He was among the first in the country to explore and implement donor CAR-T therapy for pediatric leukemia that relapsed after transplantation. Furthermore, his research on CAR-T therapy for challenging solid tumors was selected for a poster presentation at the 2022 American Society of Hematology Annual Meeting.
