Dr. Wu is with over 30 years of experience in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) and thousands of transplant cases under her belt, Doctor WU is an internationally renowned expert in the field. She previously conducted postdoctoral research at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute in the US. Her research focused on the basic and preclinical studies of gene therapy in HSCT.
She specializes in selecting transplantation methods, treating severe graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) and infections, transplantation for refractory/relapsed leukemia, prevention and treatment of post-transplant relapse, post-transplant immunotherapy (targeting leukemia, viruses, fungi), transplantation for elderly leukemia patients, post-CAR-T sequential transplantation, and secondary allogeneic transplantation, among others.
She has established a comprehensive transplantation system, achieving internationally leading results in transplantation-related toxicity and DFS rates for both hematologic malignancies and benign hematologic diseases.
