Dr. Yaşar Bayri brings over two decades of distinguished experience in the field of Neurosurgery, establishing himself as a leading figure in brain and nerve surgery. His career journey includes significant tenures at prestigious institutions, demonstrating a deep commitment to patient care and neurological advancement. From 2009 to 2022, he served the Marmara University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Brain and Nerve Surgery, where he also achieved the rank of Associate Professor in 2017. Prior to this, he honed his skills at Samsun Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Brain and Nerve Surgery (2008-2009). An international highlight of his career includes a dedicated period as a researcher in the Department of Neurosurgery at Yale University School of Medicine from 2006 to 2008. His early clinical practice was shaped at Acıbadem Hospital, Brain and Nerve Surgery (2001-2006), following his residency training. He also contributed to the Department of Brain and Nerve Surgery at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine from 1996 to 2001.

His specialization in Microneurosurgery culminated in a PhD from Marmara University Neurological Sciences Institute in 2012. A significant phase of his development involved research as a Neurogenetics Researcher at Yale University School of Medicine’s Department of Neurosurgery from 2006 to 2008. He completed his medical education at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Brain and Nerve Surgery in 2001, following his foundational studies at Istanbul University Cerrahpasa Medical Faculty in 1993.
