Professional Experience

Dr. M. Faruk Kose brings over three decades of dedicated medical practice to the field of Gynecologic Oncology and Obstetrics. His career, which began in 1981, has been marked by progressive leadership roles and a deep commitment to patient care and advancing gynecological health. From 2020, he has been a valued member of the Acıbadem Health Group. Prior to this, his impactful tenure included serving as a Specialist in Gynecological Oncology Surgery at Medipol Mega University Hospital from 2014 to 2016. He also led the Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinic at LIV Hospital Ulus as Clinic Director from 2012 to 2014, and was the Medical Director at Universal Italian Giovanni Alberto Agnelli Hospital from 2011 to 2012. Dr. Kose demonstrated significant leadership as the Chief of the Gynecological Oncology Clinic at Etlik Zübeyde Hanım Gynecology and Obstetrics Training and Research Hospital from 2005 to 2011, and previously as Chief of the Gynecological Oncology Clinic at Ankara Maternity and Gynecology Training Hospital from 1992 to 2005. His foundational experience as a Specialist Physician was also at Ankara Maternity and Gynecology Training Hospital from 1988 to 1992.

Dr. Kose’s academic foundation is robust, stemming from his graduation from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1981. He further honed his medical expertise at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, completing his specialization in 1988. His commitment to advanced surgical techniques and specialized oncology care is underscored by his achievement of the Medical Specialization Board in Gynecological Oncology Surgery in 2011.
