  • Radiation Oncologists: These specialists utilize radiation therapy to target and destroy cancer cells.
  • Oncology Nurses: These specially trained nurses provide direct patient care, education, and support.
  • Other Specialists: Depending on the hospital or medical center, the oncology department may also include pathologists, radiologists, physical therapists, social workers, and nutritionists.
